I simply wanna thank my Professor a lot of being very professional. He really knows what he does witch I personally like including the way he teaches and the materials he uses. I wish I had him last semester!

Regarding what are my strength and weaknesses, I feel better than before since I at least know what an essay has to include and what each body has to cover. But if I wanna discribe my self as a writer, I'd say am not a good writer. Hopefully I learn  more in ENG101 so I can further my knowledges.

Revise of "the woman who died in the waiting room".

I heard a definition once: It's health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver. We all know that without health life is not life, that's why "Maslow" considerate it as one of the most needs. In the article "the woman who died in the waiting room" published in Newsweek, July 12, 2008, the author Jeneen Interlandi tells us a little story about a woman was ignored in the waiting room of a brooklyn hospital and died due to bloodclots in her legs. According to the article, the poor , the uninsured and the undocumented are the most part neglected from proper medical treatment. I stongly agree with the author's statement that the poor and the uninsured people who are suffering the most part with inproper medical treatment.
In the article, it mentiones that since the 1960's, the public hospitals  have issues with providing the best care for the uninsured, phychiatric patients and the poor individuales. We all know health system in the United States has many failures and is in decadence and after reading this article, I do not feel any surprise in front of this case, I am sure this is happening every day in public hospitals across the country. It's also stated in the article that the country offers 50.000 inpatient psychiatric beds for tens of millions of people. think that's unfair, the U.S  should review its strategie according the health field and should care more about people who are not asking much. They just need a secure society so they feel secured and there is someone thinks and cares about them. Many people don'y have financial aids to go see a doctoer when they have pain. In this case, who needs to think and offer help to this people. It's the government of course who has to do that.
Also, we need professional  and helpful medical stuff members in hospitals. This little story was an example of uncare and ignorance that poor, uninsured, and undocumented people are getting every day in public hospitals. The woman who died in the waiting room was sitting under the watchful eye of a security camera that couses this story to be known over the country and by many people. But we have to know that these things happen every second and many of us don't discovered.

Is music a good tool for health?

"Why waste money on psychoterapy when you can listen to the B minor mass?", Michael Torke. In the article "is music a good tool for health?" adapted from "how and why is music a good tool for health", Elizabeth Scott discuses the affect of music on people. According to her, scientific studies approved that music affects the body and mind in many ways. She also mentioned in her article that the field of health care is using music as therapy in hospitals because people who practice music therapy are finding a benefit in using music to help  patients.
"Music can also be used to bring  more positive state of mind, helping to keep depression and anxiety under control", Elizabeth stated in her article. I strongly agree that music can bring benefits to the state of mind. I believe that all deep things are song. It seems somehow the very central essence of us. And that's why I always use music to exprime my self. In many times I send a song to someone who I want to tell something but I don't know how to say it. In this case, after the person listened to the song that I sent and got my feelings toward them, I can tell music is a tool that brings benefits to my mind. I also use music as a tool to help me get out of stree. I have a special song that seriously I every time am in a somewhat situation , I listen to that song and the state of my mind changes right after listening to it twice or trice. The funny thing that I used to hate that singer of that song, but suddenly I failed in love with his song and it's not about the music.
In the article, it also mentioned that hospitals are using music therapy to help patients. I really believe in that. It's very true and most of us would agree with the author. I read an article about psycholoterapies who use music to treat their patients and I discovered that almost all of them find music a good tool for health and they all agree that it really helps them to control the state of mind of the patient. I also remember that couple of them stated that they especially use  a specific song that I know  'itsan arabic song". When I read that, I got curiouse and decided to listen to it. It was unbelaivaible, but it's true! that I felt really relax and fresh. I felt like I'm just taking a shower! Few months later, my aunt asked me to babysite her baby boy who was less than a year old. When I was trying to make his food ready, the boy was craying crasily. I feel so lost and didn't know what can i do for him. I meant, his food wasn't ready yet and I was doing my best to relax him. In that moment, I remembered that the psychoteraphy who use that song to calm their patients discovered that the same song can also calm babies. So I went to my computer and downlowded it. My little cousin kept craying and I gave up. I left him and  went to the kitchen to check his food since the music didnt't work. Here is the surprise, when I came back to him, he was calm, relax and smiling. I was like what? Is that mean the music calming him! It could be true since I tried it for me and now here it works for my little cousin too.
I stongly believe that music affects our bodies and minds and also believe that life without music is a mistake.

Blog#5 "Gone baby Gone"

Two Boston area detectives investigate a little girl's kidnapping, which ultimately turns into a crisis both professionally and personally. Based on the Dennis Lehane novel. "Gone baby Gone" begins with narration from the film's hero, Patrick, who believes, "It's the things we don't choose that make us who we are" - things like our neighborhoods and our families. True, these things do shape the person we eventually become, but they also have the power to turn us into people we don't want to be. In the other hands, the police captain, Remie and Lionel have a different view and believe that they can do the wrong thing for the right reason witch is serve the best interests of Amanda by taking her from her mother.
I feel that I'm more close to the view of Patric witch is none of us choose to be them selves. We are who we are. In other words "everything happens for a reason". But I also believe that everyone can work on them selves to be better and better by believing that there is no mistakes in life only lessons that we learned. And that's the reason I think that made Patrick took his decisions. I'm very sure he thaught he's doing the right thing and I'd do the same thing if I were him, but he's simply wasn;t lucky enough since the circumstances were against him.
The police captain, Remie and Lionel think differently as I mentioned before. They believe that they were doing the right thing by taking a little kid from her mom. If we talk about what's right and what's wrong, I'll say that no body has a right to take a child from his parents. However if we take Consequentialism in concederation, I'll say, well sometimes we need to do wrong things to fix something by lying to our selves that we're doing the right thing. But we must know that a msitake can never correct a mistake!

CATW Practice 2

I heard a definition once: happiness is health and a short memory! I wish I'd invented. because it's very true. It's health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver. We all know that without health life is not life that's why maslow put it first in his pyramyde. In the article " the women died in the waiting room:published in Newsweek, July 12, 2008, the author Jeneen Interlandi tells us a little story about an old woman who died in the waiting room of Brooklyn's largest pyshiatric. this woman went to the hospital when she felt pain in her legs. she thaught she will be fine if she's around medical staff numbers. However this women didn't get what she expected. She stayed in the waiting room and waiting for help, but no body bothered their selves to check her. By the time the nurse tried to kick her, the woman was already dead nearly 40min ago!
According to the article, Interlandi states: "they are the poor, the uninsured and the undocumented. Many of them suffer from chronic conditions that could potentially be treated with medication and regular counseling, luxuries most of them cannot afford:. I strongly agree that when a country forceful effort to reach a goal or objective without thinking about its poor people, we can expect anything in that country.. But the problem is who will care about these poor and uninsured people who the public hospitals locked them away in cold without offering them a place in society.
How comes the country offers 50.000 inpatient psychiatric beds for tens of millions of people?! I think the U.S should better review its strategies and care more about poor people who ara not asking much. They just need a secure sociatey so they feel secured and there is someone thinks and cares about them. Many people don't have money to pay doctors consultation if they have pain. In this case who should care and offer the help, it's the government of course because people have good incomes and have their insurances won't think about others/

Also, we need very good helpful people in our hospitals. We really need professional medical stuff members who offer help and good services that we need and expect from them. This little story was an example of uncare and ignorance that poor, uninsured, and undocumented getting every day.
The woman who dies in the waiting room was sitting under the watchful eye of a security camera that causes this story to be known over the country and by many people. But we have to be aware that maybe these things happen everyday and none of us discovered.

An education in Citizenship

The educational process has been the subject of much comment by academics and writers. In the article "an education in citizenship", the author writes that an ordeal of Illegal Immigrants able to go to college and only having to pay in-state tuition. This legislation presents more advantages for lawmakers than for citizen sudents and  made American wondering why the Americain government makes it harder for citizens. I'm personally wondering why insist in citizens concerning education and make t harder for them while education is a bisic element of citizenships and its rights?

I came from a country of ther thrd world, where he education is free and it's an everone's right. And before I moved to the states,  I thaught is the same and evan better since the states is one of the richest countries nd fr sre the most powerful country in the world. But when I came here and decided to go to school, I realized thats it's easier for an immigrant to get a higher education more than it is for an american and then I discovered why most of american don't finish their education. At that time, I started wondering why? I was sure that it's not about money because we all know how much money the states spend every year against terorrisme. And in lieu of spending all this money on that stupid lie made by Israel and Islam's enemies, they should better take care of their people and offer them what they need including health before education.
As I mentioned before, the reason that the american government insists on citizens about education is not money, it's also stated by the author in te article, "since their parent's federal tax dollars help support the pell grants and federal loans". So yes why they charge citizens from other states more for tuition than they do for non-citizen immigrants?

But untill the day we now the reason why comes, we all keep wondering and guessing.
